Living Legacy

Our Living Legacy program gives you an opportunity to create a living tribute on the University of North Texas Health Science Center campus. By adopting a planting bed or purchasing a new tree, you can celebrate a special person, event, or honor a loved one. An elegant granite plaque bearing your requested inscription will be placed at the selected campus location.

The University offers a wide variety of trees. You and a landscape representative from the Office of Facilities Management will collaborate to choose the best location for the tree type and size you select. The planting season will be from March 1st to May 15th and then from October 1st  to November 30th. The University will have tools and staff available to help you plant your tree or we can plant it for you if you prefer.

The trees, sizes, and prices are listed below. All purchases are tax deductible. Please make your check payable UNTHSC Foundation. Click on the name of the tree below for information on trees and a photo.

*At this time, if you order a 95-gallon tree, the University will pay $100 of the total cost!
