The School of Public Health Alumni Society, founded in September 2003, has established a scholarship fund in the UNT Health Science Center Foundation. The goal is to provide an annual scholarship for an SPH student with a minimum of 15 credit hours accrued toward a degree plan in any discipline offered through the school.
Scholarship applicants must demonstrate their personal commitment to service to the community in the area of public health, leadership experience and potential, and personal integrity. Factors to be considered in the selection process are exceptional academic achievement, strong commitment to core principals of public health, demonstrated community service and financial need. Preference will be given to first-generation graduate students.
