Business
It
was agreed to pursue the setting up a web site this legislative
session to include: information about THEHRA, i.e bylaws, constitution,
officers, etc. and bills related to HR. This site would allow members
to view the status and history of HR related bills.
JoAnne
Russell requested we pursue a THEHRA list serve.
Rand
Horsman reported the THEHRA Winter Conference would be held from
January 10-12, 1999 at the Renaissance Hotel in Austin, Texas.
There
was no other new business.

Horsman called for announcements:
It
was announced that JoAnne Lowrance, Director of Personnel Services
- West Texas A&M University, will be retiring. THEHRA members
wished her well and announced that we look forward to seeing
her as an honorary retiree in January.
Rand
encouraged members to complete program evaluations in a effort
to help with development of future THEHRA Conferences.
New
THEHRA members were presented with THEHRA lapel pins.
Rand
Horsman recognized THEHRA Officers and Committee Chairs for
their efforts.
Debra
Cortinas - President-Elect presented Rand Horsman with a gift
of appreciation, thanking him for his efforts as THEHRA President.
