Non-Rodent Surgery Guidelines

The Department of Laboratory Animal Medicine at the request of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee has developed the nonrodent surgery guidelines. The guidelines are designed to safeguard the nonrodent surgical subjects and keep UNTHSC in compliance with the various regulatory agencies. All individuals on an animal research protocol should be familiar with procedures outlined in the protocol.
