Kathleen Forbes, M.D., is the executive vice president of clinical affairs and business development at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. She works closely with the president of UNT Health and the UNT Health Board to oversee clinical quality, innovation, performance improvement and business development, while collaborating with local hospitals on projects and alliances that will benefit the community.
Dr. Forbes earned a Master of Medical Management from the American College of Physician Executives/Carnegie Mellon University, in Pittsburgh; a Medical Doctorate from Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio; and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Psychology from Bowling Green State University.
She is on the board of directors for the Consolidated Health Services, a member of the Catholic Health Initiatives Physician Executive Council, the executive steering committee and the medical directors' council for the Greater Cincinnati Health Council Quality Improvement Project, the National Healthcare Quality Roundtable, the Leadership Institute, and the National Healthcare Chief Medical Officers Roundtable.
