Conference Overview

This conference featured nationally recognized speakers and experts in health disparities to highlight and develop strategies for the elimination of challenges related to access to healthcare in medically underserved areas. Of specific focus was disparities at the community level, primarily inner city areas, and unique health issues along the border regions. Educational and interactive presentations, panel discussions and questions/ answer sessions were done to identify the challenges and bring conference attendees closer to developing a prospectus for the future.
