While the day-to-day operations of The Osteopathic Research Center are managed primarily by the Executive Director and the Administrative Director, several other faculty within the University of North Texas Health Science Center community help forge the strategic direction for the ORC and help develop its research portfolio. The ORC also seeks counsel from leaders of funding organizations, federal agency program officers, and other researchers across the osteopathic profession relative to the research and strategic directions of the ORC. Finally, the ORC works to build strong relationships with scientific partners throughout the region and across the country. These partners work with the ORC on specific projects, and help develop new ideas to foster a robust research portfolio focused on the distinctive aspects of osteopathic medical practice.

Directors and Chairs

The directors and chairs of the ORC work together to manage the Center's current research portfolio, and to develop new ideas that expand research to maximize the ORC's development of the evidence base that supports the distinctiveness of osteopathic medical practice. The directors and chairs serve on various committees in the ORC.
