Basic and Optional Employee Benefits
NOTE: The State will provide a monthly contribution toward your health insurance premiums based on the membership chosen.
Employees will be enrolled automatically in the HealthSelect Plan and $5000 life insurance on the first day they become benefits eligible. An employee has 30 days from the first benefits-eligibility date to enroll in optional/dependent coverages. Optional/dependent coverages will begin the first day of the month following the date the enrollment form is signed. If an enrollment form is signed on or before the first benefits-eligibility date, optional/dependent coverages will begin on the first day of benefits eligibility.
