Welcome to the Homepage of the Career Services Office!

The Division of Student Affairs is pleased to announce the development of comprehensive Career Services for all University of North Texas Health Science Center students and alumni.  Current and future offerings include:

Interfolio - Portfolio management service that allows students to manage credentials online, including letters of recommendation, resumes, statement(s) of purpose, writing samples, work samples, teaching evaluations, and unofficial transcripts.  This service is helpful for a prospective teacher when applying for a teaching position, a Ph.D. when sending academic credentials to a search committee, or for students when sending application materials to graduate and professional schools.

-For more information or to sign up, visit: http://www.interfolio.com

Interviewing and Etiquette Skills - Not sure what to do in that upcoming job interview? Get nervous about which fork to use when attending a business lunch? Curious about when to contact a potential employer, and when to follow up? We can help be conducing mock interviews, meeting rehearsals, and other issues concerning the "do's and don'ts" of professional interaction.

Resume/CV/Cover Letter Assistance - Career Services staff will help you tailor an existing document to a position you would like to apply for or help you create a set of documents that will serve you well during your job search.

Job Fairs - The Annual Internship & Residency Fair for D.O. Students and the PA Job Fair for Physician Assistant students are coordinated by Career Services.  These events bring employers to campus to promote their programs to interested students.

Career Resources Library - Need to learn about how to set up a research lab?  Or how to write a cover letter or thank you note?  Career Services can provide you with information on a variety of topics and will show you real-world examples of what to do in certain settings.

Speakers for Organizations/Classes - Career Services provides presentations/handouts to student organizations and classes on a variety of career-related topics including networking, dressing for success, proper etiquette, professional behavior, and much more!
