Purpose:
The UNT Health Science Center is committed to excellence in education, research, clinical care and
community engagement.
Our School of Public Health’s innovative research and nationally recognized educational programs prepare
students to address the health needs of diverse communities in Texas and around the world.
Our students
learn critical skills in recognizing social, economic, and environmental factors affecting the health of the
public. Our training equips them with the knowledge necessary to assume leadership roles in addressing our
challenging public health needs.
The UNT Health Science Center is state-assisted, not state supported. In fact, less than half of our annual
operating budget is provided by an allotment of tax dollars dependent on the Texas economy and
skyrocketing public needs. The rest must come from clinic revenues, research grants and private gifts.
EVERY GIFT IS AN INVESTMENT IN A HEALTHIER, SAFER,
AND BETTER FUTURE.
Thank you for your interest in supporting the people and programs of the University of North Texas Health
Science Center at Fort Worth through our To Your Health gala.
