Dec. 3 Livestream to feature Holocaust survivor, psychologist, author: Edith Eva Eger

The Leadership 125 team (UNTHSC's top leaders) invites you to join them via Livestream for a special training session, "Getting in touch with our own humanity," featuring Holocaust survivor Dr. Edith Eva Eger:

3:30 p.m., Dec. 3

In 1945, after she had spent time in the Auschwitz death camp, an American soldier found her lying among a number of dead bodies at an Austrian camp. The soldier saw her hand move slightly, summoned help and saved her life.

Today she is a licensed psychologist with a clinical practice in La Jolla, Calif., and she holds a faculty appointment at the University of California, San Diego.

CNN produced a story about her experiences, including having to dance for Dr. Josef Mengele, physician at Auschwitz, who had ordered her parents’ deaths in a gas chamber.

She is a prolific author and speaker and has appeared on many television shows, including The Oprah Winfrey Show. Her specialty is helping others lead full lives by moving beyond their problems--no matter how seemingly insurmountable--with an uplifting and inspirational message.

Wehope you enjoy this special presentation. Feel free to share the link with family, friends and colleagues to view the live or recorded webcast.
