How to apply for Federal Financial Aid:

Those who are planning to attend Summer 2012, Fall 2012, and Spring 2013 will need to complete the 2012-2013 FAFSA, available on January 1, 2012.

• Grant aid is given on a first-come, first-served basis. UNTHSC FAFSA school code: 009768

International Students who are also Texas residents may apply for state grant aid.  (State grant funds are limited and awarded based on need and date of application.)

Awarding Timeframe:

The 2012-2013 FAFSA information will begin processing by the beginning of May 2012.  Applications will be processed within a week to 10 business days. Students will be notified at that time via email should additional information be needed or when their awards are ready to be accepted.
