
Cost of Attendance (COA) figures at UNTHSC include required fixed costs such as tuition, fees, books, and supplies. COA also includes allowances for living expenses such as room, board, transportation, and personal expenses. The costs have been broken down into the various programs and schools within the university.

The COA figures listed above represent a standard budgeted amount. We recognize the need to have some COA adjusted on a case-by-case basis should an unforeseen expense arise. For instance, a student may require additional funds for medical expenses, day care costs, etc. If you make these costs known to Financial Aid, it's possible to adjust your award appropriately by completing a Special Circumstances Form.
These numbers reflect the average total amount of federal loan debt our students acquire while finishing their programs of study at UNTHSC. It does not include private or alternative lending nor is it intended to be a guideline for what you will need to borrow to finance your education at our institution. The decision of how much one borrows should be made on an individual level with the assistance of your financial aid counselor.
