CAP- Student Assistant
The Center for Academic Performance is looking for qualified student workers to assist in our daily front office operations. Student assistant positions are likely to include the following duties:
Desk Coverage- Answer phones, take messages, and return all calls and emails from current and prospective students, as well as any directed to the main CAP phone and email. Schedule appointments for students. Reserve rooms, order food for events, assist with event set up/take down when needed.
CAP Office Maintenance/Open/Close- Check main office/study area daily and make sure all supplies are filled and stocked. Make sure all areas are clean and presentable. Keep supply credenza organized and clean. Open and close office.
Administrative Assistance- Assist Student Development staff with clerical/administrative tasks as needed. Examples include creating and maintaining bulletin boards, filing, dropping off print requests at Biomedical Communications, assisting with deposits, scanning, etc.
CAP Programming- Assist with programming as needed. Examples include planning Study Breaks, Lunch and Learn series, and Pre-Mat Workshop Series.
