For your safety and enjoyment, as well as the safety and enjoyment of others, the following policies will be enforced at UNTHSC - Founders' Activity Center.

General Policies:

• All Founders' Activity Center members must comply with all UNTHSC Informational Resources Standards and Polices and Code of Ethics and/Standard of Conduct.
• All Founders' Activity Center members must comply with all UNTHSC closings and FAC established hours of operation. FAC hours of operation are subject to change.
• No food or drinks, except water bottles, are allowed in Founders' Activity Center designated areas.
• Users of Founders' Activity Center shall not bring onto, or possess, on UNTHSC premise firearms, weapons, explosives, or other dangerous materials or substances, animals (unless a "Seeing Eye Dog") alcohol or illegal drugs.
• No animals other than those assisting the disabled are allowed in the Founders' Activity Center.
• Gambling in the Founders' Activity Center is prohibited.
• No smoking, use of tobacco products is allowed in Founders' Activity Center.

Weight and Fitness Room Polices:

• Use of the Founders' Activity Center equipment is limited to those users over age 16. No one under the age of 16 permitted.
• Anyone under the age of 16 in the FAC must be accompanied by an adult FAC member at all times.
• Athletic shoes that cover and protect your feet are strongly recommended.
• Proper footwear is required. No street shoes on the court surface.
• Keep all walkways clear at all times.
• Collars are mandatory in the free weight area at all times. Spotters are recommended.
• Re-rack weights when finished.
• Do not drop weights or dumbbells.
• Thirty-minute time limit on all cardio machines is strictly enforced when there is a waiting list in effect.
• All equipment must be replaced to its original place.
• Report all equipment problems to the Founders' Activity Center staff. In case of an emergency, contact Campus Police at X2600 immediately.
