"12th Annual Department Retreat
October 16-18, 2008

      

   We had another successful departmental retreat at the outstanding Oklahoma University Biological Station.

   As always, the grounds and view of the lake were astounding and the weather could not have been any better

   (although it was a little on the cool side).  "Smores" and hot dogs on Thursday evening was another big hit, and

   Friday night the weather allowed our group to interact around the bonfire once again.  The informative

   presentations, poster competition, and the fun and games provided a wonderful opportunity for everyone including

   our first-year students to participate and experience getting to know one another in a more relaxed atmosphere.
