Pursuant to the authority granted by the Texas Education Code, the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth adopted regulations to control parking and traffic, the use of parking facilities, to provide for the issuance of parking permits and to provide fair and consistent application of the parking regulations.

The operation of a motor vehicle on UNT Health Science Center property or property under its control (hereafter defined as campus) is a privilege granted by the center rather than a right. Each vehicle operator is responsible for knowing and following the regulations. The HSC police department has the authority to enforce these regulations, including the right to immobilize or impound vehicles for specific reasons. The owner or operator of an immobilized or impounded vehicle may pay the costs incurred for immobilizing or impounding, in addition to any traffic violation notice fees or citations.

The center assumes no responsibility for any vehicle or its contents while the vehicle is parked or operated on campus. All vehicle operators should lock or otherwise secure their vehicles to deter theft or other criminal acts.

PARKING DECALS ARE TO BE ATTACHED TO THE LOWER RIGHT (PASSENGER'S SIDE) CORNER OF THE FRONT WINDSHIELD ONLY.
