________________________________________ Job description: Two busy colorectal surgeons in the Dallas Fort Worth area, are seeking a qualified surgical first-assist Physician Assistant to join their practice. PA will also assist with postoperative follow up visits, including inpatient rounds, processing daily orders, progress notes, and discharge planning as well as providing patient and family education. PA will assist with outpatient clinic including pre-operative and post-operative visits, as well as in-office procedures. PA may order and prescribe medications in accordance with statutes, rules and regulations of the State of Texas. Full time position; some flexibility in the schedule. Competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience. Job Requirements ________________________________________ Education, training, experience: Employment is contingent upon successful certification by the National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistants, Texas Physician Assistant License, DEA, and ACLS required. Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team is required. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are required. One year surgical assisting experience is preferred.
