How often are Grand Rounds broadcast? We usually broadcast Grand Rounds once a week, at 12 noon Central Time on Wednesdays. Some months are slower than other, however. Do I have to be very "technical" to participate?NO! The goal was to make it as easy as possible for you to participate. Simply follow the on-screen prompts, moving from screen to screen. We even make it easy to submit your questions to the presenter, complete the posttest and evaluation and print a certificate. How many hours can I earn?We don't limit the number of credits you can earn online. However, if you are a DO, please be aware that the AOA currently permits a maximum of 9 hours of Category 1A to be earned online per 3-year cycle. We are, however, dually accredited by the AOA and the ACCME. This means that even if you reach your 9 hour maximum through the AOA, you may still be able to apply the credit you earn to your state licencing requirements or the Physician's Recognition Award through the AMA. Please check with your state's licensing board. How do I get a certificate? You will be able to print a certificate directly form the program after you pass the post test and complete the evaluation and credit request forms. What else should I know? Each participant is required to take a pre and post test and score at least 75% on the posttest in order to claim credit. If you don't score 75%, you will NOT be able to claim credit for that week's presentation. How much does this cost?NADA! ZILCH! NOTHING!
