2014 Pre-Pharmacy Prerequisite Coursework
In addition to meeting the admission requirements, all applicants must complete the following pre-pharmacy prerequisite coursework for consideration of his/her application for acceptance into the program. A bachelor’s degree is not required for admission into the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) 4-year program.

The minimum grade point average required for consideration into the program is 2.500 of all completed prerequisite coursework. If a course is repeated, all attempts are used in the calculation of the grade point average.
A student is exempt from the general course requirements if they have attained a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited U.S. college or university prior to entrance. Students graduating in May 2014 prior to matriculation will be considered graduates.
Caveat: If you elect the general course requirement exemption, only your math and science GPA will be calculated. Before electing the exemption, calculate your GPA with and without the general course requirements.
Carefully read the UNT course descriptions to compare with your completed coursework. If they differ, they will not be accepted as fulfilling our requirements.
