To provide opportunities for a diverse student body to obtain the knowledge, attitudes and skills needed to serve in the health care professions and to continue their development throughout their professional careers.
History
The School of Health Professions was approved by the University of North Texas System Board of Regents on May 20, 2004 and subsequently approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board on July 8, 2004. The School of Health Professions provides opportunities for a diverse student body to obtain the knowledge, attitudes and skills needed to serve in the health care professions and to continue their development throughout their professional careers.
