Busy Bariatric and Cosmetic Plastic Surgery office seeks an enthusiastic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to enhance its expanding practice. This full-time position will be equally challenging and rewarding and offers diversity of duties.
To meet the expanding practice’s needs, this position will require flexibility in hours and willingness for some travel. Duties will include clinical and hospital care of patients as well as assisting in bariatric and cosmetic surgeries in both the office and hospital settings.
A brief overview of the responsibilities includes: Conducting new patient consults; collecting detailed medical histories, patient education, H&P’s, order lab radiology and diagnostic testing and exams, perform minor procedures and injectable treatments, perform hospital rounds, attend seminars and conferences as needed, and assist in surgery
Requirements: Strong clinical and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and demonstrated flexibility Ability to work in a stressful environment Computer skills required, EMR experience a plus.
