If you are a Physician Assistant with experience in behavioral health or are someone who wants to enter into the exciting field of behavioral medicine, this opportunity may interest you. Our practice is looking to add an additional Physician Assistant to help with our growing needs. As part of our Psychiatric clinical team, you will work with all age groups and hone your clinical skills under excellent supervision. In addition to helping with patient assessments and providing follow-up care, you will have the opportunity to participate in improving the quality of care. If this sounds promising, it is. Qualified applicants should be graduates of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program. You should also be Licensed by the Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners. Your tasks will include: -initial psychiatric assessments and development of comprehensive treatment plans in consultation with your supervising physician -routine follow-up visits for medication management and evaluation -participating in the coordination of care with stakeholders -documenting all your services in electronic medical records -responding to patient inquiries and messages in a timely manner -maintaining all your certifications and CME requirements -participating in ongoing efforts to improve quality of care and service experience Send us your resume at the earliest.
