NP/PA in Community Medicine in Fort Worth, TX

The Candidate must have experience providing medical care to near elders (age 50+) and elders (age 65+) within primary care settings. Experience working in community-based settings/clinics is a plus. Bilingual English- and Spanish-speaking required for 2 of the available positions. Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams preferred.
The UNT Health Science Center, Department of Internal Medicine is looking for multiple full-time Physician Assistants or Nurse practitioners at the instructor level to provide medical care for patients in the Community Based Primary Care for the Elderly program. Clinical care will be provided within community based clinics and settings (e.g. senior citizen centers, food banks, churches). Responsibilities will emphasize quality patient care and accomplishing clinical care tasks, sharing on-call and attending required meetings. Candidate must be TX licensed by start date. Academic opportunities are available through teaching health care students (medical and other health professions) and engagement in scholarly activities. The candidate will report directly to the Medical Director, Program Director and PI of the program.
