About HealthTexas Provider Network
HealthTexas Provider Network serves as a physician hospital alliance with a vision to achieve excellence in the delivery of quality patient care. They are a 501(a) physician organization under the Texas Medical Practice Act with Baylor Health Care System as its sole member.
HealthTexas supports the Baylor Health Care System by developing well-defined physician services around Baylor Medical Centers throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
HealthTexas has experienced phenomenal growth since its inception in 1994 and now employs more than 590 providers practicing in more than 194 locations, making it one of the largest and most successful hospital owned physician networks in the nation.
HealthTexas has been the recipient of numerous awards including the American Medical Group Association's 2012 and 2011 Acclaim Award Honoree and 2010 Preeminence awards and the 2008 HealthLeaders Media Top Leadership Team in Healthcare for medical group practices award.
