A Great Celebration for a Great Cause--

The School of Public Health at the University of North Texas Health Science Center started with the help of the people of Tarrant County just 5 years ago. We’d like to celebrate our beginnings and look to a bright future with our 5 Year Fiesta Roundup.

In just 5 Years we have worked with Fort Worth and Tarrant County to provide needed education and public health forums where the community could learn about diseases and actually receive treatment at little or no cost.

But our main goal is to educate students who will be the leaders of public health departments across the state and the nation—to expand our reach beyond the city of Fort Worth and the state of Texas. The students that we educate will help provide ways to prevent and control dreaded diseases, such as Alzheimer’s, diabetes, heart disease and cancer. They are the hope for a healthier world.

It’s amazing to look at what has been accomplished in just 5 years. We celebrate and look forward to an even brighter future.

Thank you for supporting a great celebration for a great cause!
