Chili Cook-off for scholarships

Dust off your secret family recipes.  Chili cooks (and tasters) are needed for the first-ever UNT Health Science Center Chili Cook-off.

The event is sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs and will raise money for student scholarships at the Health Science Center.  The Cook-off is planned for Feb. 12 from 11 am to 1 pm in the Atrium. Entry fee for the competition is $10. If you just want to sample the chili, it’s $5 for five cups of chili, dessert and a drink.

A panel of judges will pick the tastiest chili … the grand prize is $200.
