Alumni Phone-a-Thon nets $11,875 in pledges for Physical Medicine Institute This week first- and second-year TCOM students volunteered to help raise money for the Health Science Center’s Physical Medicine Institute and student scholarships. Volunteers called members of the TCOM Alumni Association to ask for support… and so far they’ve raised $11,875 in pledges and donations. The annual phone-a-thon is organized by the Alumni office in the Office of Institutional Advancement. The phone-a-thon continues on the evenings of Feb. 18-20 and Feb. 25-26. First- and second-year TCOM students are encouraged to participate. Volunteers get free food, a chance to win door prizes, and an opportunity to raise money for their class.
