OMCT demolition and Institute for Cancer and Blood Disorders make headlines

Several media outlets included the announcement about the new Institute for Cancer and Blood Disorders, a partnership between the Health Science Center and the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. The announcement appeared in TherapeuticsDaily.com, : Calibre Macro World, Macro*World Investor, NewsBlaze (Baltimore), KLFY Online, TherapeuticsDaily.com, kotatv.com, East Bay Business Times, kron4.com (San Francisco), Dallas Business Journal, Apria Healthcare Online, DiGiTAL50, and Pegasus News.

The demolition of the OMCT building made a big bang in the media last week, as the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the Fort Worth Business Press, CBS 11 News and KRLD Radio each included stories about the former hospital and the Health Science Center’s plans for the site, once cleared.

The DNA lab was mentioned in a story by kcbd.com for its role in helping to identify the remains of a young man who was found in Lubbock, and by the Merrillville Post-Tribune for the work it is doing to establish the identity of a headless corpse.
