Acceleration Lab opens in CBH

The new lab is a partnership between TECH Fort Worth and the Health Science Center to make some of the HSC’s state-of-the-art resources available to TECH Fort Worth clients developing medical technology. Acceleration Lab includes six wet labs, cubicle space, a private conference room, the UNTHSC's Office of Technology Transfer and Commercialization, and TECH Fort Worth staff offices.

Clients will have access to common areas, a break room and conference rooms on campus. The facility also will provide shared office equipment, Internet access and administrative assistance.

Acceleration Lab is located on the second floor of the Center for BioHealth. Last week’s ribbon cutting was attended by HSC and TECH Fort Worth leaders, Acceleration Lab clients and Fort Worth Mayor Mike Moncrief. The first client residents at Acceleration Lab are CorInnova, Resonant Sensors Incorporated and Sendera Discovery. CorInnova and Resonant Sensors Incorporated have been awarded investments by the Texas Emerging Technology Fund.
