UNTHSC and Cook Children’s team up to raise cancer awareness
The UNT Health Science Center’s Institute for Cancer Research is teaming up with Cook Children’s Health Care System to raise awareness of neuroblastoma – a rare form of cancer that affects hundreds of children each year. Along with the Children’s Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation, the partnership is co-sponsoring the exhibit Life – Through the Eyes of a Child Living with Neuroblastoma, which features portraits of children living with the disease. The exhibit opens with an event at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center on Sept. 5, from 6 to 8:30 pm and runs for three months.
