TCOM students and cancer survivors
The Star-Telegram featured a unique opportunity TCOM students had to get a first-hand view of living with cancer from a patient’s perspective. A cancer survivor group spoke with the students, answering questions about what it was like to live with the diagnosis. Dr. Ralph Anderson and student doctor Jeremy Clark were quoted in the article.

Dr. Ransom’s latest column in the Business Press
In addition to President Scott Ransom's monthly column, an article about checking on the elderly, featuring Dr. Janice Knebl’s expertise appeared in the Fort Worth Business Press on Feb. 16. The same issue included a brief about the upcoming Center for Community Health preconception workshop.

TECH Fort Worth adds new client
BAP Image Systems became TECH Fort Worth’s newest client, as announced in a story on Pegasus News. Darlene Ryan, executive director of TECH Fort Worth, said the new client has already begun to help other Acceleration Lab clients.

DNA Lab helps close cold case
The Austin NBC affiliate KXAN reported a match made in our DNA Lab helped solve the case of what happened to Houston Morris, a murder victim missing since 1982. The lab’s work also cleared the 26-year-old murder case, in which the suspect was arrested, tried and convicted without Morris’ body as evidence.
