UNTHSC’s Research Appreciation Day 2009 was held on March 6 at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center. This year, 181 students, residents and postdoctoral fellows gave oral and poster presentations on their research. UNTHSC welcomed guests from around the community including local students and representatives from the offices of U.S. Rep. Michael Burgess and State Sen. Jane Nelson. Over 50 judges from the surrounding communities presented 30 awards totaling $11,000 in prize money. For more on RAD, click here.
