New orthopaedic surgeons join UNT Health
Three new orthopaedic subspecialty surgeons have joined UNT Health and are seeing patients in Fort Worth and Arlington. Brian Webb, MD, sports medicine specialist; Donald Stewart, MD, foot and ankle reconstruction specialist; and Viorel Raducan, MD, whose practice is focused on neck and spine surgery, will see patients at the Patient Care Center, as well as the Arlington Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Clinic.

Field Day is tomorrow
Faculty, staff and students can still get free tickets for Field Day 2009. The event is on April 18, from 11 am to 2 pm, at the Lockheed Martin Recreation Association fields at 3400 Bryant Irvin Rd. Games include kickball, volleyball, jousting, kids activities and more.  A dunking booth and cake walk will raise money for student scholarships. Lunch is free with your ticket. PA Studies 10th anniversary celebration
The Department of Physician Assistant Studies is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its first graduating class with a banquet on Friday, May 1, at the Fort Worth Club. The black-tie event, “An Evening in Mumbai,” will include dinner, karaoke and dancing with an Indian flair. In conjunction with the event, continuing medical education training will be offered on Saturday, May 2, at the Health Science Center. Alumni, faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend. Tickets are $50 each for the dinner and $50 for CME. Contact Denise Armstrong in the Alumni Office at ext. 2278 to register or get more information.
