Saving Paul Quinn College
Paul Quinn College is working on partnerships with the Health Science Center and Southern Methodist University to keep its doors open, according to an editorial in the Dallas Morning News. The piece notes that two decades of inadequate funding and poor community support have led to a loss of accreditation. The Associated Press and the Houston Chronicle reprinted the editorial.

Physician participates in Iranian election protest
Arash Manzori, DO, assistant professor of cardiology, was interviewed about the protests against Iran’s election results by the Star-Telegram. Dr. Manzori left Iran when he was 13 but continues to support those still there who battle for fair and democratic elections. A companion piece was posted on the PoliTex blog.

Saving missing persons
