Internet Update Update
Our newly redesigned Web site is now live! It has been revamped to better meet the needs of our external audiences. If you can't find a link, try the "Useful Links” page. Links to GroupWise and My HSC are at the footer of every page, on the Useful Links page and as icons on the right side of the home page. Contact webtalk@hsc.unt.edu with questions, suggestions or ideas. Note that the next step in upgrading communications is revamping the UNTHSC Intranet to improve communications for our internal audiences.

QEP Program Funding Opportunity
The Health Science Center community has chosen critical thinking and faculty teaching as the themes for our SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). The next step is to gather pre-proposals that outline five-year plans to enhance student learning outcomes related to one or both of those themes. The pre-proposal should provide outcome measurements and contain a budget for five years of implementation. Faculty, staff and student teams are welcome to submit suggestions. Pre-proposals are due by May 30.

For the complete RFA (Request for Applications), criteria and details on how to submit a suggestion, contact qep@hsc.unt.edu or visit the SACS page on the Office of Strategy and Measurement Web site. For more in-depth information about the QEP program, check the SACS Handbook for Reaffirmation of Accreditation.
