The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America recently released its annual list of "worst cities for spring allergies," and the Dallas-Fort Worth area ranked No. 7.
"Allergy season will get worse before it gets better," said allergist John Fling, MD. "I think it will be around until at least the first week of June."
What can you do to combat allergy symptoms? Dr. Fling recommends that if you have not had your allergies tested before, it is a good idea to do so.
"An allergist can determine what a person's specific allergies are, such as grass or tree pollen, and we can decide the best course of treatment," said Dr. Fling, Professor of Pediatrics.
