Eryn Loney and Bobbie Ann Adair are the newest members of the University of North Texas Health Science Center’s Student Affairs team.

Loney will join the Office of Academic Support as the office’s new coordinator. She will increase and further develop the tutoring program, coordinate group study sessions and specialized workshops for all students. As the new student development coordinator, Adair will focus on providing leadership workshops, orientation programs and other extracurricular activities for all students.

Loney earned her master’s degree in communications from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. Previously, she worked for Tarrant County College as an academic advisor in the office of enrollment services, and as a student development coordinator in the Northwest campus testing center.

At TCC, she was active in the Recruitment-Advisement-Retention committee, volunteered as a Junior Achievement liaison, and was instrumental in launching the student-mentoring program on the Northwest campus. Loney has also worked for the James L. West Alzheimer Center as the director of community relations, and at Bauder College as a career counselor. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from the University of North Texas in Denton.

Adair recently received a master of arts in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of New Haven in Connecticut where she was also employed as a student activities graduate assistant for two years. In this position, Adair worked with students, faculty and staff to facilitate relationships between the Student Activities Office and the university community.

She also created and implemented a leadership program for students and served as an advisor to the Greek Council and student planning committees. Adair has also worked as a fellowship coordinator with the University of New Haven and most recently was employed as a training and placement specialist for the Women’ s Center in Fort Worth. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas in Denton.
