LICCIARDONE MOVES TO OSTEOPATHIC RESEARCH CENTER FROM DEPARTMENT OF FAMILY MEDICINE
John Licciardone, DO, MS, MBA, has moved to professor and director of clinical research for the Osteopathic Research Center from professor and director of grants and funding in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.
Dr. Licciardone’s responsibilities will include the acquisition of funding; conducting and presenting osteopathic research; collaborating with osteopathic researchers nationally; and mentoring beginning clinical investigators and trainees at the center.
Dr. Licciardone joined the health science center in 1987, following completion of a residency in public health and preventive medicine at the Ohio State University College of Medicine.
He earned a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Fordham University, graduating cum laude. He earned a doctor of osteopathy from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by a master of science degree in preventive medicine from Ohio State University and a master of business administration from Texas Christian University.
Dr. Licciardone is a native of New York and currently resides in Fort Worth.
