VAIDYA NAMED TOP MICROBIOLOGY AND IMMUNOLOGY STUDENT AT UNT HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER
Swapnil Vaidya was named the top student in the microbiology and immunology department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.
Vaidya is a native of Nagpur, Maharashtra, India and currently resides in Little Rock, Ark.
A recent graduate of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences receiving a PhD, Vaidya is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Vaidya earned an MBBS from the Government Medical College in Nagpur, India.
Vaidya received the award at the Graduate Student Association’s annual awards banquet on April 29.
