BERG JOINS UNT HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER
Rance Berg, PhD, was recently named assistant professor of molecular biology and immunology at UNT Health Science Center.
Dr. Berg was previously a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Berg’s research interests include understanding how the immune system responds to infectious diseases, with special emphasis on natural killer and T cells.
A native of Amarillo, Texas, Dr. Berg earned a bachelor of science degree in biology from DePaul University, graduating summa cum laude. He earned a doctorate in immunology and microbiology from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Berg currently resides in Mansfield.
