DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD RECIPIENT PROVIDES ROTATION SITE FOR TCOM STUDENTS
Bill V. Way, DO, a Duncanville dermatologist, received the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association’s Distinguished Service Award.
Dr. Way is active in teaching osteopathic medical students on rotation from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at UNT Health Science Center. Dr. Way also serves as program director of the Texas Division of the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine Dermatology Residency Program.
The award represents the highest honor that TOMA can bestow on an osteopathic physician and is given in recognition of outstanding accomplishments in scientific education, professional education, osteopathic education, or service to the osteopathic profession in Texas.
Dr. Way earned his DO degree from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Mo. He received the award at the 106th annual TOMA Convention and Scientific Seminar held June 1-5 in Austin.
