Kissaou “Bertin” Tchedre was named the top student in the biomedical sciences department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.

  Tchedre is a native of Togo and currently resides in Fort Worth.

  Tchedre is a current doctor of philosophy candidate at the health science center, from which he holds a masters of science degree.

    Tchedre received the award at the Graduate Student Association’s annual awards banquet on May 12.
