Dr. Scott B. Ransom, UNTHSC president, was conferred as a Distinguished Fellow of the American College of Physician Executives (ACPE) by its board of directors, an honor that is only given out once every few years. This distinction is given to physician executives who make “exemplary and enduring contributions to the knowledge and advancement of medical management.” A formal ceremony will be held in New York City in April.
