Research Education

Through The Osteopathic Research Center's research education initiative, led by des Anges Cruser, PhD, MPA, the ORC's director of research education, innovative approaches to teaching medical students how to better understand the scientific literature, discern the quality of a research article or study, and integrate research findings into patient care are being developed and implemented. This research project is funded by NIH-NCCAM through a R25 grant. The Osteopathic Heritage Foundation also provided funds to extend the benefits of this project to other colleges of osteopathic medicine through a public/private partnership.
