Application Information for Residents & Fellows

We're pleased that you are considering a graduate medical education program at Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth. Our GME programs promote advanced training in the appropriate basic sciences; clinical application of basic science knowledge; development of the knowledge, skills and attitudes for the delivery of high quality patient care; and growing competence in the clinical techniques of the specialty. We offer a team-oriented work environment with supportive staff and attendings. Our residency and fellowship application is for those individuals who have completed their first year of post-graduate training and are interested in transferring or pursuing a fellowship program at Plaza Medical Center. Our residency and fellowship programs are listed below along with pertinent contact information. We invite you to contact those programs that interest you to learn more. Our GME program objectives include achievement of proficiency in the AOA required seven core competencies including osteopathic principles and practices, medical knowledge, patient care, interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, practice-based learning and improvement, and systems-based practices.
Fort Worth is the 17th largest city in the United States and the fifth largest city in the state of Texas. Our beautiful city is home to an incredible cultural district that includes the Kimbell Art Museum, the Amon Carter Museum, and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. Due to our seasonable climate there are many family-friendly outdoor activities to engage in throughout the year including golf, fishing...biking, walking or running along The Trinity Trails...a visit to the Fort Worth Zoo, and The Fort Worth Stockyards...just to name a few!
