New Student Orientation

(Orientation is Mandatory!)
NOTES:
1). Punctuality: Throughout your education and, later, in your professional career, the habit of tardiness is one of the single most destructive traits you can possess. We ask that you be on time, not just for orientation, but for every class, workshop, and meeting you attend. It is a matter of professional courtesy to your fellow participants, orientation organizers, and session speakers. All orientation sessions are mandatory unless otherwise indicated. Failure to attend every session may result in dismissal.
2). Attire: We ask that you dress in "business casual" attire. It is not necessary to wear suits or dresses but t-shirts and shorts are not recommended. You will have your ID photo taken and will also be meeting several key administrators for the first time.
3). Please do not bring a spouse, parent, guest, child, etc. with you to orientation. Orientation programs are designed for incoming students only. Any individual not accepted into a graduate program for Spring 2009 will be asked to leave.
