The QEP TEACH-HSC Team is comprised of UNTHSC professionals with varied backgrounds from all schools at the Health Science Center. We strive to improve student learning outcomes for all Health Science Center students.

QEP Milestones

  • 01/18/2008 - 02/08/2008: Solicit QEP themes from UNTHSC faculty, staff & students / Receive 36 suggestions.

  • 02/14/2008: QEP Team condenses 36 suggestions into seven macro themes.

  • 02/27/2008 - 03/12/2008: UNTHSC faculty, staff & students rank the seven themes.

  • 03/13/2008: QEP Team reviews rankings; critical thinking and faculty teaching receive highest number of votes.

  • 05/30/2008: Nine QEP pre-proposals received.

  • 06/24/2008: QEP Team reviews nine pre-proposals and selects five to move forward with three proposals.

  • 09/01/2008: QEP proposals due.

  • 11/18/2008: TEACH-HSC selected for development as UNTHSC QEP.

  • 12/02/2008: TEACH-HSC development begins.

  • Mid-June 2009: TEACH-HSC QEP presented to faculty, staff, and students for feedback.
