About FOR HER
Community outreach and engagement

Goal:
To serve as a liaison between FOR HER and community agencies, focusing on creating opportunities for integrating students into community settings that would enhance the lives of women living in our community.

Establish formal collaborations between FOR HER at UNTHSC and community agencies on issues relevant to women’s health

Coordinate student participation in activities sponsored by FOR HER with other community partners

In conjunction with the Education Division, provide educational opportunities for the women in the community where the results of the cutting edge research could be presented
