To foster an environment for intellectual interactions and to promote collaborative scientific investigation (basic science, clinical and epidemiological) aimed at addressing the multi-factorial issues that relate to women’s health. This aim will be achieved through the continued development of facilities, faculty and activities within FOR HER at UNTHSC.
Expand further current activities in addressing questions relevant to women’s health and gender issues.
- Establish new research collaborations within and across disciplines within UNTHSC.
- Establish training opportunities for graduate students, residents and medical students such that students from various disciplines (basic science, clinical, public health or education) can be introduced to, and perform cutting-edge research that is relevant to women’s health issues.
